What kind of alternator power are you running?

stock thats why i was thinking that 2 at the same time would **** my alt to death i was looking around and they have some isolators that charges one then moves tot the next. does that sound like a better idea?

Not really, becuase if your alternator can't keep up already, adding another thing to charge won't help any.

i'd just get a new alternator. but i'm not too learned on the advantages of more / bigger batteries.
how reasonable is it to have a dual altanator system? like extending the belt for the extra pulley?

Very reasonable. Look up the xxx^6 truck and you'll see his dual alternators. Very feasible if you have the room under the hood I would suppose.Originally Posted by LooKin4Boom
