Hi I have 2 subs that are 10's one is a cerwin vega dual voice coil and the other is a random single voice coil made in china one, together the guy i bought them from said that the y have an rms of 720 and a peak of about double that. I have looked on crutchfield and about everwhere, even the sticky on this forum on how to wire them. The Made in china one is 4 ohms and the dual voice coil is 4 ohms total so i need to wire them for a two ohm load to get the most out of my legacy 1490 amp that has 1,600 watt peak and is a 2 channel amp that i would like to bridge to get 800 watts out of it in one two ohm load, so if anyone could help on how to wire this up it would be great. I would Like to use both voice coils on the dual voice coil as to allow most rms watts possible on sub.
(SEPERATE: sorry if im confusing but i dont really know how to calculate, ex. like wiring two single 4 ohm voice coils to get a 2 ohm load, and stuff because i can find no way to take 4 and 4 and get two.... yeah so all help would be aprecianted)
