    Battery terminal installation

How do these attach to the battery? It looks like there's a screw on the end, near the circular part... Are they even necessary or is a ring terminal good enough?

Have you even looked at a car bettery before???

Terminals hold the stock wires on there. They are a necesity. Ring terminals are used to hook up extra wires to the bettery terminal.

Err, yeah I've looked at it many times... The reason I ask is because there are many companies that sell battery terminals for audio installation. What I wanted to know is do you move the wires from the stock terminal to another terminal if you use one, or can you add more than one?

    Re: Battery terminal installation

Your stock wires get cut from the previous one and are inserted in to the new one. Its really simple.

Right, so you would have to remove the stock terminal, yes?

    Re: Battery terminal installation

And you can't use those on standard GM batteries, at all, you'd have to have dual terminal batteries or strictly post batt
