    Hooking up two amps

I was wondering if i could hook up my rca cables from my head unit into my jbl bp1200.1 and out of that same amp into my crappy pyramid 4-channel 300w amp to power the rest of my speakers. Or, would i have to run y-adapters with one rca cable going to each amp seperately?

does the jbl have a line out? If so, ques. 1 = yes. This signal is usually unprocessed (aka pass-through)

Yes you can. It's called 'daisy chaining'. Just set the gains correctly and wang away.

but if you do it that way, you can't use your sub volume out on your head unit, if that's important to you.

When I hooked up my front amp, I just used another set of RCA's to hook it up, so I could independently control each amp...
