jbl bp1200.1 stable at 1 ohm?

is the jbl bp1200.1 amp really stable at 1 ohm, and it wont fry or anything?

Yes, it is stable at one ohm. Just make sure it's in an area that gets a lot of airflow, or even better, purchase a small fan to cool it. You should have no problems.

how would i hook the fan up in the back where the amp is mounted

you should wire it to a dash mounted switch so you can turn it off or on but also the power lead should be switched by the ignition so it turns off with the car. i recommend not wiring inline with the amps power supply as this may introduce noise to the amp.

all great ideas, the JBL WILL uinfact run 1 ohm stable, might get warm as everyone is saying...
wire up a fan.....
keep it in a nice open area, not hidden behind anything....
