after 3 amps I would consider a relay but with two you will be absolutley fine, just think about it, any good headunit usually comes with triple preouts and only one amp remote

Wire up a toggle swiths for power from yer battery. Then you can have them both on it and flip it and they will come on.

Same here on my oldass Kenwood. I had to use a vampire splice on the H/U's power-when-ignition-on wire.

Just an idea if one REM isn't powerful enough.

Re: Can i run two amps from one remote wire?

daisy-chained the remotes on my 1200.1 and 500.2..just ran the second wire out of the terminal as the first. No problems, and have the remote fused at 500mA near the head unit harness for safety.
