HO Alternators - where to find at a good price?

    Hello,

I got a few quotes on a 200amp alternator, but they are all over $500.

I am not complaining, but just wondering if that is about the best price I'll be able to find? I'm willing to use anything in the 180-220amp range as far as an alternator goes.

Thanks to anyone who can tell me a better place to find a direct fit replacement HO alternator.

    T.J.

email [email protected] for a quote on exactly what you're looking for; dom iraggi of iraggi alternators I think. I got quotes of 500 from other places and iraggi gave me a quote of 340 (for a 150amp direct-bolt replacement alternator of a 2000 malibu with 3.1L engine, CS-130D stock alternator)

    best sig of all time

Dom's prices went up a lot...I would look elsewhere as well...

    www.excessiveamperage.com quoted me $265 shipped for a 200a, also try www.h-o-alternators.com

They aren't bad, but not that great either.

Last year he quoted me $379 for a 240 or 260a alt (don't remember which one)...
