Is there a way to connect bare wires to a RCA video plug?

Hey guys, noob here. I need to run three bare video wires (+, -, shield) to a standard RCA video plug. I see adapters to do this for standard audio wires, but is there any way to do it for a video cable?

I'm installing a factory backup camera that has a regular oem harness to an aftermarket setup but the aftermarket unit uses an RCA plug.

    Thanks in advance.

Isn't the shielding on an RCA cable a sheath?

Center is positive, the outside is the negative.

Depends on the type of cable used.

Also, depends on the type of cable used. twisted/shielded wire you choose one to be negative, one to be positive and cut off the shield.

The shield and the negative should be the same for RCA.

I believe he meant the connector itself, not the cable. There's no reason to cut the shield off, either. For an unbalanced input of any kind, using the shield as a ground is much more effective than using "twisted pair"
