Re: Stock electrical vs Crescendo BC2000D

hm.... i ran a 2000rms amp on a stock 100a alt with 1 extra lead acid battery(<yea i know the lead acid is not safe inside) in the rear for over a year and never dropped below 12.4 at full tilt. IM IN NO WAY SAYING THAT ITS A GOOD THING TO DO, but it kind of depends on the size of the stock alt. My 100a alt was not the biggest but thats why i added the extra batt in back. You can away with 1500-2k, as long as you know what your doing. Alot of times its the installer that has the amp gain set up way to high, and of course the amp begins clipping and will pull way more current

Re: Stock electrical vs Crescendo BC2000D

i have a crescendo bc2000 and crescenco concerto c1100.4 on my stock ( i believe 120 amp alt) on my 2008 honda accord LX only with an altima yellowtop battery up front. its not that bad i know i need to upgrade my alternator though. if im playing it for a while on volume 28-30/40 it can drop down to 11.7 volts, but then i drop it in neutral and rev up the engine for a quick sec and it goes back up to 13-ish volts

Front stage- HAT Imagine i61-2 for midrange and Rainbow Cal 25 Silk Tweeters for highs
    Rear Stage- Factory Premium Speakers
    HU- Pioneer AVH-x8500

    Mid/High amp- Crescendo Concerto C1100.4
    Electrical- big 3, Optima Yellowtop
NVX Sound deadener and Sealed doors
