Positive battery terminal crowded. Best way to hook up?
What is the best way to connect my system to the positive terminal on the battery.
It already has 2 connectors on it and this is the connector i have:

Right now it is attached to a screw which holds it to the terminal, i need to know what a good way is to connect it lol thanks a bunch.
You see where the screw is now that holds the circle 'together' It is connected to the power by means of that screw, power runs through the screw not through a circular terminal i know it's hard to understand.
Wat should i do?

That is just ghetto fabulous! Seriously, get a terminal to replace the basic battery terminal that uses ring terminal posts and then use crimp ring to terminate all your wires. You will able to get the most wires coming off the positive terminal that way. Another suggestion is to find things that can share a wire. For example, on my car I have a 4ga wire running to the input ring terminal on the underhood master fusebox for the car's electrical system. I used a 1/0 crimp-on ring teminal and crimped a second 4 ga wire into it to go to the starter. My alt wire and power wire that is going to the trunk are being split by a t-block mounted to the panel I made for my fuse holder. The final result is I got 2 4ga and 2 1/0 wires on the pos side and the battery terminal I used only had provision for 2 wires.

depending on how big you system is, you can get an appropiate gauge wire that runs from the battery terminal to a fused distribution block inside your car/cabin. that way, you won't have so many wires running to the battery. be sure to put an appropiate in-line fuse near the battery.

or, you can choose to run a buss bar on the positive terminal (taped or sealed, of course. might jsut look half decent if done right).
This is what I use:

I have a single 0/1 gauge connector, dual 16 gauge and dual 4 gauge connectors. If you used O rings on top of the 4 gauge bolt, you could link a few more.

can you guys link me to where i can get the stuff confused.
I know what i was doing was ghetto but i had no idea how to fit 2 of those rings on the terminal loll
Re: Positive battery terminal crowded. Best way to hook up?
on the largest bolt, you can use a Y spade terminal, or cut off one end of the O ring terminal and fit it in between the bolt. :)
Re: Positive battery terminal crowded. Best way to hook up?
i'll take a pic of what i've got when i get home to show you guys what a mess it is lol.
is there an O ring adapter that fits over the battery's terminal and splits it into 2? THat's all i really need

Re: Positive battery terminal crowded. Best way to hook up?
er, those look like standard clamps to me. If you just need two more, you can put two o rings on top fo each other, no problem. You can also opt to use a thin copper plate instead. You can bend it into shape, then tighten one end to the terminal, then bolt down the O rings on the bar.
