How to install 2 powered subwoofers into a 1996 chevy single cab

How to install 2 powered subwoofers into a 1996 chevy single cab-96-c-series-wiring-diagram.jpg

I think I have it figured out but I'm not sure. I want to have a L and R sub-woofer behind my bench seat as well as replace my door speakers and rear speakers. My previous car and aftermarket stereo had an equalizer setting for 2 different sub-woofers labeled subwoofer 1 and subwoofer 2 but I didn't install it so I have no Idea what kind of pre-amp outputs it had, but I'm guessing it had a sub-woofer pre-amp with a L and R output.

My big question is, am I right that I just use a y-splitter RCA connecter and connect one sub to the left output and one sub to the right? And do I just use one power cable for both tubes or do I need to run 2 cables to the battery?

You can run one power wire. Just has to be large enough and split properly. Y splitter is not the best but will work given the output can be matched on the split signal. The output voltage drops when split. What powered subs?
