I was one of those punk kids growing up, that had 2 15" Kickers, in a big *** ported box, with a big amp, that played them as loud as they could go. Ive since grown up, and matured a lot to realize how dumb I probably looked, lol and am now looking to actually tune and get the best sounding bass.
I recently sold those subs, since I bought my 2013 Charger, they wouldn't fit in the trunk. Im getting a pair of MTX TS55 12's, in a nice ported box, and would like todo everything the right way.
I don't know the model number of my amp off the top of my head, but its a Hifonics Brutus, one of the bigger models. It has all kinds of adjustments- Level, Bass Boost, Phase, HPF, LPF, and some more that I cant think of off the top of my head.
Whats the correct/best way to wire these subs to get the most bass. Im not looking to be heard miles away, these subs are pretty much being given to me, so I cant pass them up. (For now at least).
Its a stock 2013 Charger RT with the uConnect Alpine system. I have an MTX Re-Q hooked up to get signal to the amp. The RE-Q also has a few adjustments.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Heading out right now to pick them up.
