don't get ohms,or how to hook out things in parallel or series?

I don't understand the mechanics of hooking things up in parallel series or any of those terms. I also don't understand ohms and how they work. I want to know what 15in rockford dvc are at for ohms. I have a 1,000 watt v12 amp 2-channel, What ohm is that amp stable at? and how can i setup that amp to push my 15's the best it can with out wreking my shiznit

click on the tech part...then scroll down the side till you get to the onsite search engine....then do a search for series wiring....it will give you a diagram off almost every wiring configuration...good luck
