    Grounding question

The backseat of my Tahoe has a large steel frame that is bolted to the floor(obviously). I am trying to figure out a good spot to ground my amps and rear battery. At first I was just going to use one of the bolts. As I was looking at the seat frame, I noticed that there are several places where I could just drill a hole and place a bolt for the grounds to connect to. Since the frame is bolted to the floor of the vehicle itself, would this work as a good ground?

    Re: Grounding question

depends if it's painted before or after it's bolted. if painted after then it's a poor ground.

i always make my own. remove paint and bolt.

have you been helped by me? i'd love to know. shoot me a PM.

    Re: Grounding question

Alright thanks. I found a better spot through the floor into the frame. That should be sufficient.
