Questions about upgrading electrical in my Pontiac G6

Hey guys.

So I think I'm finally gonna put some serious thought into upgrading my electrical in my car some. Currently I'm only running about 1100W on 4AWG with fairly new (non deep cycle) battery and no BIG 3.

I just got a pair of Sundown SA-8v2's and eventually will want to strengthen my electrical for a bigger amp. Was looking at some 3500d amps (Q1-3500.1d, SAZ3500d, and Crescendo BC3500d).

What I'm looking at doing first is batteries and BIG 3. Now I know all about what the BIG 3 is and does and all that. What I'm really after is some suggestions as to what to do for batteries/wiring.

I think the group size for my battery under the hood is 75. So I'm wondering what would be best to do. I was thinking of doing a group 75 Optima Red Top under the hood (I need/want side and top posts), and then doing a 1/0 gauge BIG 3 and running 1/0 gauge to the back to an XS2100 or maybe a 3400.

Let me know if that sounds good enough for the time being. Will probably also get an HO alt later but I can't afford EVERYTHING at once.

Now if I do all that while running my current Audison LrX 5.1K (it only has 4 gauge power and ground). Can I run 0 gauge to the back battery then just jumper off the 0 gauge with 4 gauge to the amp? Or would I have to use 0 gauge from the battery to a distro block and THEN out to 4 gauge to the amp?

Also if anyone thinks an OP Red Top wont be good enough for the starter battery then please let me know of what would be a good group 75 battery for under the hood for my setup.

Really? None of you bass heads have any input on this subject? haha. Also I have now upgraded my wiring to 0 Gauge along with the BIG 3 in 0 gauge. So now I just need best battery layout.

What about running an XS power under the hood and in the back? Would that work better considering they are the same battery? And not to mention built for audio applications?

If that would be a better option does XS make a group 75 battery for under the hood?

XS makes some of the best batteries around, if not the best but they are expensive. If you are willing to spend the money then don't hesitate to get one. Looks like the dimensions of a Group 75 battery are 9 1/16" x 7 1/16" x 7 11/16"...now find an XS battery that has similar dimensions and has enough cranking amps to start your car and you can use it under the hood...

Do some research about your car, sometimes you can fit a slightly bigger battery into the stock location.
