It appers to work well enough to see the waves square out whats your opinions?
Sometimes there is a focus adjustment outside but on some its on the inside - either way, any TV repair center can get it in focus again. Thats what seems wrong to me - just the focusing of the waveform...
Its hard to say. The seller may just not know how to properly use it and has his settings all out of whack. One dial clicked on the wrong setting and you can get some really funky looking waveforms going in no time. It might be worth it for 60 bucks but for a few bucks more I am sure you could find on in good working order if you looked hard enough. Tektronix scopes are typically pretty good units though(when working)

I agree, that trace looks like the intensity is turned way up. But if you're not 'scope saavy I'd keep looking.
