Re: Sealing Door Opinions
Umm.. what's the material there? Metal? Why didn't you cover it? And what about the other big hole? Did you deaden the outer door skin first?

The material on the inside? That's the factory deadener that came with the car. I'm still working on the other hole I just wanted the thumbs up on this one first. The speaker hole is large enough and my arms are long enough for me to deaden the outer door and I can use that hole that isn't sealed to apply to spots if needed.

Use deadener on the inside of the outer door skin first or you will hate yourself later lol. Also, whatever you used will probably work, but put a layer of deader over it and any flat metal panels.

No, I mean the patch you put over the big hole - what is it?

Aluminum flashing, and sheet metal screws. I plan to deaden over it.
Re: Sealing Door Opinions
I used aluminum flashing and deadener on my truck. It was a PITA and not worth the trouble. On my car I just used Alphadamp. Its stronger then the flashing and worked much better.
