Just finished my first attempt at sealing my door and wanted opinions on it, maybe tips for improvement if need be before I continue to deaden over it and eventually move on to the next door.

Umm.. what's the material there? Metal? Why didn't you cover it? And what about the other big hole? Did you deaden the outer door skin first?
The material on the inside? That's the factory deadener that came with the car. I'm still working on the other hole I just wanted the thumbs up on this one first. The speaker hole is large enough and my arms are long enough for me to deaden the outer door and I can use that hole that isn't sealed to apply to spots if needed.Quote:

I used aluminum flashing and deadener on my truck. It was a PITA and not worth the trouble. On my car I just used Alphadamp. Its stronger then the flashing and worked much better.
