2 ohm sub or 4 ohm sub
I'm about to buy a kicker 11dx250.1. 2 ohm rms = 250w, 4 ohm rms = 140w and was wondering if the kicker comp 10 2 ohm sub would be louder than the 4 ohm version. Just want to add a little more kick pedal from rock music. I'm basically a noob when it comes to car audio so any answers are good answers! Thanks in advance!

Re: 2 ohm sub or 4 ohm sub
since the amp does max power at 2 ohms....that would be the way togo....unless you are using a pair of them then you should get two 4ohm woofer to make a 2ohm load

Re: 2 ohm sub or 4 ohm sub
Just the 1 sub. Had 2 12's before and definatly don't want that bang. My music choice has drastically changed since that system.

If running solo sub 2 ohm

Re: 2 ohm sub or 4 ohm sub
I'd run 2 of the single 4 ohm 10's and that will get you to a 2 ohm load if you wire them parallel. Throw em' in a ported box and rock out!
