I heard welding cable is good for subs. That 2/0 welding is a little bigger but not much bigger than car audio 1/0. How does it do with resistance? Thanks guys.

I run a large amount of 2/0 welding cable. Its SLIGHTLY larger than the 1/0 wire I have. Also run 300amp fuses in the fuse blocks.

also, welding wire tends to have less flexibility than 1/0 wire engineered towards car audio.

1/0 weld wire performance = 1/0 car audio wire performance. It's just stranded differently to help with flexibility, and the pricier caraudio wire is usually a bit oversized compared to the American wire gauge (awg) specifications for marketing reasons.

Is it somewhat flexible? Cause 3.06 sounds better than 8.75.
flexaprene and excelene(the most flexible weld wire)can be found on eBay cheap, but so can Monster Cable 1/0(my choice of budget wire, btw). The monster is tinned, and will last a lot longer because of that. That's one thing tinned caraudio wire had going for it over weld wire, too. Tinned copper takes WAYYY longer to corrode(turn green or black and cause poor performance).

I only included the silver there, since its the only tinned variety of the monster cable they carry.
