    Icon14 can u run 14v battery

    up front & run 12 volt in the back?

    & beside the obvious 2 volt diff in voltage what are the benefits of running one

    14 volts is achieved when the battery is running with an alternator. I haven't seen a 14v battery.

    14v batts are charged at 16v
    16v batts are charged at 18v

    You can run 1 alty and have 2 different batteries.

    Many companies sell 16v batts and only one I can think of that makes 14v. You can also make your own bank of 14v 16v 12v etc...

    your going to install, a guy in another form told me about these direct fit..

    I've read about them but is deterred from the price. For that much, I can replace all the door speakers with two sets of CDT Audio or Rainbow 6 1/2" components. Plug-and- play is nice. ..if the price was nice as well. Thanks by the way.
