14 volts is achieved when the battery is running with an alternator. I haven't seen a 14v battery.

You can run 1 alty and have 2 different batteries.
Many companies sell 16v batts and only one I can think of that makes 14v. You can also make your own bank of 14v 16v 12v etc...
