Installing after market radio in 2001 Bravada with bose/onstar

I was wondering if anyone knows how I can go about installing and after market radio in my Bravada. It has factory bose and onstar I don't care if the onstar still works since it's not digital and is obsolete anyway. I just want the door chimes and bose amp to still work. it just has one plug going to the radio and I've looked all over and they make adapters for a bunch of other gm vehicles to make it work but i can't find anything for mine. I was hoping someone had info on this I'm pretty new at this and it's be greatly appreciated.

Will this work it says its for a 2001 Blazer which is basically the same as a Bravada. I know they have different radios but is the onstar/bose/wiring the same?

ok well for some reason it won't let me post the link but yeah its a PAC OnStar® Radio Replacement Interface for Select General Motors Vehicles with Bose Sound System

A few weeks ago I installed a Pioneer DVD/CD receiver in a friend's 2005 Chevy Colorado. The previous owner had already installed a single DIN Alpine CD player in the dash. He said the PO told him he bypassed the "ACC" red power wire and all the door chimes work like normal. You may have to do this because after I installed the Pioneer receiver, everything works. Of course, you have to properly tape the existing RED "ACC" wire off the stock harness plug to prevent blowing fuses. His didn't have a BOSE system like yours. Hopefully, this method will work in your SUV so you won't have to buy the interface module. BTW, he did have to get a METRA mounting kit but I was able to re-use the existing METRA wiring harness for the new HU .
