Seriously? You fuse for the capability of the wire. If its an eight gauge wire, you put a fifty amp fuse. My 1/0 is fused for 300 amps. ...this is so if there is ever a short, the fuse will blow before the wire or battery melts down. The only time you take amplifier power draw into account its when there is no onboard fusing on the amp, and you put the correct fuse on the power wire a couple inches off of the terminal.
