Negative battery post has factory and 1/0 gauge coming from it now did some research and ecu tells alt. How much power to put out could that be my whole problem

So I'm going to have 3 grounds coming from battery should I ground to same ground as amp and battery are on now or a new one
If all your wiring checks out, you probably have your gain set too high. You shouldn't have any trouble with dimming lights with the electrical you have now.
Ground from the neg battery post directly to the amp

What difference does that make chassis ground is maybe 4 inches away from post

How did you set the gain on your amplifier? you should go to an auto store and have your alternator tested, they usually do it for free
Amp was set with meter and alt was tested at time of purchase
I quess I'll get a second battery next week and see if that will help. Any idea what size, not trying to take up trunk with system and batteries I do like to drive it like I stole it ...sometimes lol. Thanks for all your help.
At least a group 34.. 31 if u can fit..in the mean time try adding that ground
