I can't even post it on caco because they want me to have a vendors liscense...lol I don't make enough to cover that.
But anyways.
Av83 could be right. If your blowing a fuse and that is what JL recommends. Then you could be clipping hard. Which will pull in my current than your amp needs.
**** man, thas really cool of you. hopefully you do start making some money off it soon. i see quite a lot of people looking for them, but a lot of people dont want to buy them because theyre a little on the expensive side and most people wont use them too much after their amp set up.
hope you start to make some money off it soon. i'll try to spread the word for you if/when i see people in need of it. have you tried diyma.com?
and thanks for the adivice. ill try to lower my gain. im using a 3sixty.3 now which is supposed to have higher output voltage than anything else ive used before, so i mightve set my gain a lot higher than i needed to with this unit.
Re: different 12+/ground gauge
I would upgrade the power wire to a bigger aug. and go buy the best fuses you can run with your amp. I always but the best fuses and never have a problem even with my gain turned way up. Gl

Nope. Because DIYMA would classify that as needing a vendor's license too. Ant owns DIYMA and CACO.
Besides the guys on DIYMA all use/have o-scopes.
I'm not worried about making money on the tool. Because I bought it with the intentions of keeping it. Which is why I charge so little.
Yeah. If you have a higher pre out voltage than before. Redo your gains.

my main power wire is as big as it gets. and my power wire to the amps is as big as the JL HD's can fit.

thats right. i forget DIYMA is owned by anthony too. And youre right on the o-scopes too, most people on there go a little harder on car audio and go all out with the o-scopes.
i will check my gains, but if anything, i might still be interested in renting out the dd-1 from you. have you seen some good results/accuracy from it? pretty easy to use too right?

Well if you want to know how accurate it is.
My Exile amp makes a buzzing sound when it distorts. And the DD-1 light comes on right when the amp starts buzzing. So it is dead nuts.
And it is retarded easy to use. I can redo my amp gains in less than 5 minutes with it. And that is including removing the speaker wire and putting it back in.
And don't listen to that guy. Your wire size is good:thumbsup:
