    ups battery for car audio?

    Ive just acquierd several agm 12 volt 18 ah ups batteries. can i put these together to get a 36 ah battery? Or am i missing the concept of these big time.

    such a small battery would be atotal of 36 but still a small reserve

    no you can. but even them in parallel doesn't provide much amperage. only 36.

    Yeah not worth the effort but there wouldnt be any problem

    Electircal - 35 amp alt from ford festiva upgrade, stolen battery, 28 gauge solder coil for my cable - Dual D34 Yellows, 1/0 trystar OFC, 135amp alt

    these batts have same rating as the small hc600 well 2 amps shy, whould this help me any?
    Im only running 1000rms and have slight voltage drops

    36 ah's would be fine for 1kw rms. It'd try it.

    assuming the batts are in good shape then it certainly wouldn't hurt to use them. How many do you have? I run several C&D's which are just big *** UPS batts, 134aH each...

    Got em in and no dimming a drop of about .5 volts. But now I have a whine when car is on only from headunit. Can't figure it out but I do know it only happens when there are two sets of rcas hooked to preouts.
