WTF is a CV 15? Do you mean Kicker CVR 15"? If so, you're going to get another dual 2 ohm and your final amp load will be 2 ohm (or 0.5 ohm) but I wouldn't do that daily). So the amps you're going to be looking at should do around 1000 rms @ 2 ohms. If what I'm assuming is correct.....
Sorry cv = cerwin vega dual 2 ohm v max series
Not cheap to find a 1,000 watts @ 2 ohm
1,000 @ 1 ohm is super cheap like this http://www.caraudio.com/forums/ampli...sm-1300-a.html
Ok would that 1 1000w amp @ 2 ohm be enough for two of my subs to run at 500 rms each? Or is it 1 amp per sub? Also what brands are true 1000w?
Found a kenwood kac 9105d 900w rms@ 2 ohm for 175 on sale..would that be a good choice? And I'm confused..if my sub is 500 rms y get amp with higher rms?
Nvrmd amp should be 75 % - 150 % sub rms...and I'll just find a 500w rms @ 2 ohms amp for my sub .... think that's right..thanx
if you have 2 subs you need 2x the power.
1000 watts amp for 2 subs = 500 watts per sub
Kenwood is not great, look at the MB Quart Discuss series
K will do
pinoy2o9 has some arc audio ks1000.1 for sale, they are class h amps. that amp is 1000wrms @ 2ohms, depends on your budget. he's selling them at 300, worth more.
Hifonics BRZ 1200 is 900rms @ 2ohms good budget amps I doubt you will notice the difference between 900 and 100 anyways:thumbsup:
Discus series discontinued..onx looks like new series..those good? About same price as hifonics kenwood..is kicker best or just paying for name?
