Turning a/c on turns off my subs.
Ok guys I just had some subs put in today, and I noticed turning on my a/c turns my subwoofers off. The light on my volume control nob goes from blue to a clear led. I would call up to the shop, but they are closed now, and wont be available till Monday. I'm thinking this isn't a major issue.
Edit: Didn't know my avatar was going to pull from gravatar.com, making me look like a nerd haha.

I was guessing it was due to lack of power from the battery, not enough power to run both. Wheres the orange illumination wire located?
Re: Turning my a/c on turns off my subs.
when you take the hu out it should be in the harness

Re: Turning a/c on turns off my subs.
lol i already told you its orange. if its connected disconnect it, its not needed
Re: Turning a/c on turns off my subs.
Do you know where the shop got the remote turn on signal for the sub amp?
Did they use the radio(is it factory or aftermarket) fuse block inside or outside?

Not sure about the remote turn on signal, and the radio is factory.
Re: Turning a/c on turns off my subs.
You've already stated you don't know what your doing. Might as well take it to a shop and get it fixed.

If you have a factory radio they prolly tied into the ac power controls i would let the shop just move the remote turn on to the actual fuse block

Appreciate that, I know someone who knows the owner, so I'll see if I can give him a call, shop doesn't open till Monday.
Re: Turning a/c on turns off my subs.
I would just disconnect it till then idk what exactly could happen if you didn't
