Need help grounding factory amp/sub...

Please help!
I have installed a Kenwood DDX419 double din in my truck with the already installed factory amp and subwoofer. The sub makes a pop every time upon start up. I was informed that it needs to be "grounded". I have had a few other head units installed professionally in the past and don't believe anyone ever went to the stock amp for any wiring/grounding. I believe everything was done at the head unit. I currently have the unit wires (power, speakers, ground, etc) connected and everything seems to be working fine except for the beginning popping sound.
The wires coming up through the dash from the amp are 2 female rca cables and 2 blue wires (amp power wires?) that connect to the head unit but I just can't figure out how to ground that part of it.

the pop is typically because of the amp turning on before the head unit. where did you connect the factory amp remote turn-on?

the factory amp should get power and signal through the harness/ RCA's are for aftermarket systems. two blue wires aren't descriptive enough. where did you connect teh two blue wires? you should trace them and see where the other end is.

I have 2 blue/white factory amp turn on wires that come out from harness and I have them both into one blue/white power control wire coming out of head unit.

What is that double RCA thing for on the HU? Is that the sub preouts?

Turn on pop happens when the amp is powered up before the input source is stable. It's not a ground problem. There are ways to fix it but first you should make sure it doesn't pop with the RCA's disconnected. If it does you need to figure out exactly what those 2 blue-white wires do 'cuz you'll probably have to wire them differently.

Yes the rca's are for the sub. It's a factory 10". The 2 blue/white wires coming from the harness are labeled "amp turn on".... and they connect to one blue/white wire on the unit labeled power control. The popping does still occur when rca's are unplugged.
