    Amplifier Protect Light

    Hey everyone,

I have a JL TMA T2 1000.1 amplifier and the other day it quit powering my sub. I got around to looking at it today and noticed the "protect" light is on. I re-attached the ground, and battery cables, still on. I then checked the fuses, all we're alright, and even unplugged the speaker wire and the RCA cables, and the light still turns on. I have done all that i can think of doing...

    Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

We grinded the paint off and screwed the ground to my frame. I have a kicker CVX 12" at 1ohm I believe. It's been working for over a year, it just recently went out

Take your sub out and make sure you're speaker wire can't be touching anywhere.....

Can you look inside the amp and make sure that nothing is loose?

Amp is probably toast. Low end Chinese junk. Need to get into slash series before JL becomes worth owning.
