Need Help.. 2 9500s
Ok guys.. I have 2 12 inch MTX 9500s each sub is dual 4 ohm. Got some questions..
What amp should I run?
Extra power(batteries, alternator...etc.)?
And last is the sub enclosure? Ported? Sealed? Specs?
I cant seem to find a decent enclosure for these two monsters.

Re: Need Help.. 2 9500s
look for a good amp around 1000 to 2000 rms at 1 ohm, alot forsale on here
build a ported box probley around 4 cf tuning depending on what you like probley 30- 35 hz, alot of free box designs on here also
i would always upgrade your batt. and probley ho alt. if you dont want voltage drop/lights dimming
what kind of car are you putting them in?

Re: Need Help.. 2 9500s
2000 WATT RMS @ 1 ohm is the amp you would want.
You will want an H.O. Alternator and at least 2 batteries.
Box depends on your vehicle.

meh... I'd get a bigger amp than something that only gives them 1000 a piece. Yeah I know that's what they're rated at but they can take a lot more.... 3000-3500 @ 1 ohm and then you've got some head room.

He doesn't need a HO alt. It wouldn't hurt him to have but it's not needed. Run a big 3 upgrade to your electrical, get a nice KHC-1800 power cell and bam, you're good

And most def run 1/0 gauge with at least a 250A fuse
