Engine whine. Need help, New system

Okay, to start, Ive had 2 kenwood subs and amp in my car running off of a KDC-135 HU and its always worked perfectly. Recently I added 4 JBL door speakers and 2 Tweeters, everything worked fine running off the HU, besides not getting enough power. When adding the new amp for the door speakers, I get whine when my car is running, it increases with RPM of the engine. I have tried moving the ground to the amp, I moved the RCA cables away from the power and ground, checked the resitance on the RCA cables (0.03/4). Nothing seems to fix it. I also took a RCA to Aux cable and hooked it directly to my amp and then to my phone, and it played music without the whine. Meaning it wasnt using the HU. Could It be my HU grounding? Or my Power control cable? This is the first time Ive setup audio in my car like this, the subs went in easy with no problems. Everything else was fine too, besides the whine.

    Car:
    1997 Subaru Outback
    4cyl/2.5l

    Components:
    Kenwood KDC-135
JBL GTO series speakers and tweeters 70W RMS
    2 Kenwood 12in Subs
    MB Quartz amp (80w RMSx4)

Not sure on the model for the subs/amps. I can get them if needed.
Also Im not using the stock battery, I got one of the highest rated batterys.

So all of these problems are now fixed. One last problem, my headunit is 2 ch outputs and i jsut have both amps linked together and it sounds fine, besides that fact that theres to much bass (Tuning amps soon), and when I turn it up loud it cuts out and shuts off and the amp for the door speakers goes into protect mode. How do I fix that?

Depends how you hooked up the speakers, you might of wired them so their impedance is too low for the amp to handle.

They all are wired normal just straight to the amp, no bridging or anything. So what should I do?

Measure the resistance of the speaker wires at the amp (disconnected) and from each wire to ground and report back.

could also be your voltage at the front battery. if it drops too low the speaker amp cuts out first cuz its more sensitive to lower voltages but the sub still plays. if thats your problem then you need more grounds on your front battery or a bigger alternator i think. i had a similar problem

Re: Engine whine. Need help, New system

So thanks for everyone responding to my post, my first post no one answered a while back. I have fixed all issuses with my car and it runs well, it bumps way to hard even with the sub at min levels, due to running 6ch off of a 2 ch headunit. The power control cable was the culprit, putting out 1.6v instead of 12v. It works but you have to manually turn it on and off. I will fix it later. And if anyone is looking to sell or trade a kenwood 6ch headunit let me know or email me. (nclincoln@gmail.com)
I also have a 5000w coleman generator that im trying to sell. If your interested let me know and we can make a trade or for cash. Its like new, never used before, just sat around for a little to long (1-2yrs) and the governor is broken on it, just needs to have the carborater and throttle body cleaned and it should work like new.

    Thanks again guys!
