    Need Help

    hello, i have a Rocksford Fosgate Amp 601s, Kicker S15L7 - 2 ohm Sub, 4X Infinity 6802cf 5x7 6x8, and a Alpine CDA-9813 Head unit..

    heres my question, what kinda wiring do i need. ? i have a 94 mustang.

    get a 4 gauge amp kit

    y dont you want to install it yourself its much cheaper and you learn how to do something new, your also going to need more wire for the head unit to the infinitys i would recommend 16 gauge wire from wal-mart, the cost for the amp kit and the 16 gauge wire i think would be around $35-$50 if you buy your stuff from walmart

    Buy a complete amp kit from www.knukonceptz.com

    You should be able to get away with an 8 gauge kit, but if you plan on ever upgrading, you might as well go for the 4 gauge kit now.

    BTW, wiring stuff is easy. Don't waste money by having a shop do it. If you need help we can give you steps.

    first of all, thanks for responding to my post.


    ill get the 4 gauge amp kit, and some extra wiring( 16 guage wiring, anything else? ). i was reading some post, and do the wiring make a big diffrance?

    can you guys give me some steps , on how to install this stuff. BTW i dont have a box for my sub.

    im a newbie at this stuff

    so are u going to install it yourself or are you going to get an audioshop to wire it, if you get it wired by an audioshop how much will they be charging you

    he said from 100-150. but i got a friend who does this stuff. hes doing it for free , next sat.

    thats good how much did the wires cost you, you should watch him do the install it will show you how easy it is to make a good install
