How to use gain on Rockford Fosgate Amps?

I have a RF Punch 500.2 and I can't figure how the hell I'm suppose to turn the gain controls, I've tried turning those little white knobbies with a phillps screw driver and a allen wrench (wrong sized used?)

I need to fix the gain because all I hear come out of my subs (Kenwood Tornado, 800 watts handle 20-800 hz) are freqencies around 60 hz (with the bass boost on full, hardly any otherwise).

So how can I get that volume of just the subs up?

Those little white thingys are how I turn my r.fs gain up or down. Do you have a crossover or passive eq installed?

No, it's just my kinda old panisonic cd player puts off a small signal.

What tool do you use to turn the white things?

I also wanted to say it's loud as hell when the bass boost is *all the way up* but only on the frequency the boost is for.

I used a small screwdriver from a watch repair kit.

I just went out and looked at mine. It doesn't seem to be either but i use a flat head. The way rf puts there gain controls needs to be updated i think. I always had a hard time with the gain controls too.
