Icon32 **GROUNDING the amplifiers! More POWER?**

    Hi,
Would grounding my amplifier directly to the negative post of the battery produce more power
compared to grounding it to the vehicle chasis.

    Thanks in advance...

Only if your current grounding point at the chassis is poor. The only time it might be worthwhile is if you're into spl comps and you wanted to squeeze out a few more tenths

In reference to that question... in adding a second battery to the back. Would one need to run a + and - from front to back? Or, could you ground the second battery to the chasis in the back, assuming all of the car's stock grounds have been upgraded to an equivalent cable to that of the + run to the back?

All girls are whores, just ask your mom how you got here.

It helped in my car.. I have weak grounds at the rear. Never checked the meter but it did help on the voltage side.
