I have a stinger battery isolator. Everything is pretty much straight forward except I don't where to connect the "true ignition source". Can it be connected to the RED cc wire radio harness? Thanks in advance...

depends on how you want to control the relay. the ignition wire will connect the battery when the car is on. yes, the red ACC wire on the head unit is an ignition source. note if you have a >2000 GM Vehicle, you can't use the Class II Data Bus wire as ignition.
There should be other ignition sources in the engine bay.
have you been helped by me? i'd love to know. shoot me a PM.
