    Rear Speakers wont turn on

I have a 1991 Toyota 4Runner V6 SR5 4WD, and once I had a pioneer cd player, but the Rear Speakers never worked when i played it, Although they did work with the factory radio. So anyway i put the factory radio back in and the rear speakers did work. So now 2 years later i bought a JVC cd player and hooked everything up with the Car Stereo Wire Harness for my model of 4Runner, well once again the back spears arent working and I dont know what the problem is. If you could please help me figure this problem out i would greatly appreciate it.
    Thank You
    Peter Kyne

take the head unit out and remove the wiring harness. check the schematics for the head unit and make sure that the colors match up for the harness for your car.

Right under the deck, behind all the trim is a silver box (the factory amp). There are two plugs on the bottom of it and you need both of the plugs, the small one is the rear speaker leads. When you wire it up, the wiring kit will plug into those plugs.
