Pyle Plam2300 amp...red protect light comes on?????

I have a pyle plam2300 amp and when hooked up right the protect(red) light comes on. I have a thick and good ground. It has a 40 fuse in it now. The inside of the amp is all clean and shiny and nothin looks fried. Please help!!!!

it's a pyle. just chuck it and save up for a good amp. crescendo audio is a good place to get a awesome low cost high quality amp.

what is the ohm load you are showing to the amp?

what are you trying to power with this amp? If you are trying to run a sub with this, it must be wired to 4 ohm bridged or if you have 2 subs they can be each pwered off a different channel if they are 2 ohm subs. Either way, i wouldnt expect too much out of the amp as pyle is not known for high quality. That 2300 watt amp actually only puts out 200watts rms.
