I think this might be a stupid question but all these RF diagrams show only 1 pos. and 1 neg. output from the amp.
I have 2, since its a 2 channel amp. I have a Hifonics Centurion X 100w x2 @ 4 ohms amp that clams 1 ohm stable. My speakers are 2 x MTX 8000 4 ohm.
Currently I have the speakers hooked up as follows, + from the left channel goes to both + on the speakers, - from the right channel goes to both - on the speakers. I believe this is called bridged or parallel.
My question is, is this the best way to hook it up or am I only getting half the potential power since the - on the left and the + on the right channel are not being used? I was thinking to hook them up so that both + from the amp go to the + on the speakers in parallel and both - from amp go to the - on the speakers in parallel. Let me know if this would work. Thanks.
