Newbie and need help! HU wont turn on

Just got a new Dual XDMA6630 and ive hooked the yellow(memory) Red(ignition) and black(ground) up and it wont turn on. this is my second HU and im so confused. Ive checked all wires witha muiltimeter and have power to the harness. please help me. anyone?:rage:

what are the other wires doing? if any are shorted out it won't function (protection).

Take the hu to your batt, twist the red and yellow together and hook it to the pos terminal, black to the ground if it does not power up the hu is faulty. Check your cars fuses also, may have blown your radio fuse

Exactly..... do this^^^^ should turn on without issue.
