    Icon33 Help Sub Wire Problem!

ok here's the deal...just got in my new subs...i was going to wire the 2 15" DVC subs (4ohm) into a 1 ohm wiring....they sent me 1 15" DVC sub and 1 15" SVC sub....is there any way to wire this into 1 ohm or should i wait another 2 weeks to get the right one?

    Re: Help Sub Wire Problem!

If the SVC sub is 2 ohms then it can be wired to the other one for 1 ohm total. If it's 4 ohms, you can't.

    Re: Help Sub Wire Problem!

Wait for the correct sub. Both speakers should be impedance matched. You better have a hell of an amp to run at one ohm....and sound good. (by the way you didn't mention the impedance of the SVC driver)
