Help with JBL in 04 Toyota Tundra

I'm installing a aftermarket hu in a 2004 Toyota Tundra. It has the factory JBL system, I have searched around and cannot find a solution to retaining the factory amp without buying the $75 interface, which I dont really want to do. I plan on upgrading the speakers and amp soon but for the mean time Id like to still have a radio lol, any suggestions? I know on the older bose systems all u had to do was make sure you had the cd player remote wired into the amp turn on wire.

    1998 Ford F-150 STX
    -5.4 PI Swap

    Current Set Up
    Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9851
    Door Speakers: 682.7CF Kappas
Sub: MTX Thunder 5500 Series 12
    Sub Amp: Autotek 500.1
Audio Enhancers Slot Port, Tuned to 40hz.

They make the interface for a reason. Use it. I had a customer swear me up and down recently calling me a crook because he didn't want to pay for the interface but wanted an aftermarket head unit. Haven't heard back from him

Alright thanks, I've got an interface on the way.
