do i need an adapter or can i wire my HU directly to stock wires?

hey i am a newbie and would lke to lknow If i need an adapter from my HU toto stock wires or if I can cut them and wire it directly? any help would be apprecated

you need an LOC (line out converter) unless your amp has hi-level inputs

I just plan on hookng up the stock speakers for now no amp or sub I just wanna know if I NEED to go to futur shop and buy the adapter or if i can splice the wires?

Just spend the little $5 to $10 and get the adapters

I've seen people cut a set of RCA's and splice them into the rear speaker wires and work

x2 buy the harness. for the 6 dollars it's going to cost you it will save you time, and if you ever decide to sell the car you can throw the stock one back in with no problems.
