is it bad to twist a pair (+/-) speaker wire?

I'm talking about the wires from the aftermarket wiring harnesses that I have... connecting the wires from the back of my Pioneer headunit to the harness connecting to the speakers.

If i twist each negative/positive wire for each speaker together ( i don't mean twisting the exposed ends to connect), does it cause any interferance or distortion? If I do this, It will be more organized... also, i always thought twisting wires together like that is good (the inside +/- wire in the monster RCA cables are twisted, as it is the same in telephone, cat5 cables, etc.).

    Lemme know, thanks.

It's fine as long as the shielding is intact and the bare wires aren't touching.

its a great idea, but arent the wires usually like 4-6 inches anyway???

you can always label them, or even better, print out a small diagram in color on a sticky label type of paper, and stick that .....unter the head unit inside the car.

ive never thought of that before, but ima do that from now on
