4 guage can work, but best results would be to use 1/0 guage, check out ebay or etronics for capacitors/distrobution blocks. I believe the amp can take both 4 guage and 8 guage input. It may be cheaper just to get a seperate 8 guage amp kit and run for the 4X75 amplifier. 1/0 guage can get hefty in price.

yah since ive already got 4ga run thru the car i guess it would be easiest to run 8ga to the second amp, but now for another question,
running stock alternator and a duralast gold battery,m will i need to upgrade my elec. system???

dimming on long notes is bad, but id rather not run my alt (stock i think is 85-100, i cant get a clean answer from anyone, ) at 90% capacity. id rather buy a new alt if im going to be running it at such a high capacity.
