Kinetik Batteries?

How do Kinetik batteries do as starting batteries? If used as a starting battery what size should be used? When an isolator is used do the amps draw from the starting battery also?

2)use the size that fits in your factory location, you can tell that by matching your current battery size to the sizes of kinetik batts

I know that you answered no to my question about amps drawing off the starting battery. I also know that the amps dont draw off of the starting battery when the car is off, but I was asking if they draw off of the starting battery when the car is on? Sorry for the vagueness of my question

And i custom built a battery rack for my 02 taurus to house a hc1800 under the hood. Trying to fit its height was a ***** but it worked great in the end.

Dang I didn't know that. So I guess the starting battery isnt that important when an isolator is used. So if I put a hc2000 upfront I wouldnt notice a difference in voltage drop on long bass notes than with the redtop I have now?

nope. you don't have to run an isolator though if you start the car regularly IMO. I have never run an isolator and never had problems running a front and back batt

If your gonna use an isolator just put a cheap battery or keep your optima in the front for starting and car accessory purposes dont waist your cash for a hc2000 that is not going to support any of the audio.

And out of curiosity what would possess you to put a stinger and a kinetik in the trunk and an optima under the hood.

I've talked to Kinetik plenty of times and they said to go with 2 of the same models so they'll last longer, but of course everyone runs different batteries up front and back and they don't have any problems though.
Just my 2 cents.

I dont know. Bought batteries at different times for different setups. Started with just the redtop, needed more power bought the stinger, needed a little more power my cousin had a hc800 for cheap so I added that. Probably will keep the redtop upfront and get rid of the stinger and the hc800 and put hc2400 in the trunk. I just want one battery in the trunk.

Im just saying your mix and matching to much; agm and gel and weak links with powerful ones. If you can have all the same battery its always better but to mix different technologies is almost crossing the line if your wanting the max out of everything you paid for. Especially since the charging rates is much different between gel and agm.
