    tutorial for installin a set of AMPED components?

    i need a tutorial for installing a set of components that is amped.

    i have searched on google too and cant find one.



    Car- 2004 Acura TL
    HU- Stock/ bose
    Front Speakers- stock/ bose
    Back Speakers- stock/ bose
    Speaker Amp- stock
    Subs- stock
    Sub Amp- stock
    Wiring- stock
    Electrical-stock
    Trying to get my sundowns and JL's in it
    Trust Me

    Here you go -

    1. Connect woofer to crossover.
    2. Connect tweeter to crossover.
    3. Connect crossover to amp.

    But seriously, what do you need to know?

    so just hook up the amp's rca's to the mid/high on the HU output?
    what about impedances?

    last i checked most HUs dont have a mid/high RCA out, maybe front and rear?


    But yea, its very easy, just hook the amp up, then hook up the comp set.

    mine does.

    has sub/lows
    then high and mids.

    what about impedance's of the woofers and tweeters?

    If wired to the crossover, the ohms will not change.

    yeah but how are they with the amp?

    same as with a sub?

    in which case they are weird right?

    cause the woofers are 3 ohms.

    It's self explanatory! You don't even have to worry about impedance!

    (Most 4-ohm stable amps are 3-ohm stable.)



    Now designing / building boxes.
    (Only building sealed and aero port boxes.)

    Then make sure you have an amp that's at least 2 ohm stable. @ 3 ohms, you need an amp that can do about 150-250RMS @ 2-ohm (That is if the speakers need 100wrms)



    Now designing / building boxes.
    (Only building sealed and aero port boxes.)

    speakers need 65 wrms.

    so i need one that can do like 100-150 at 2 ohm?

    what amp are you using? are you using the equipment in your sig?

    do that. the focals are rated at 60rms but can most likely take more. set your gains accordingly on the amp. they will give the amp a 4ohm load on each channel.
