    Helppppp Please Hellppppppp

    Hi !

I have bought a pair of Magnat Xtrema 216 speakers that you can find on this web site:
    http://www.magnat.de/english/produkte/ under the Xtrema series.
But anyway here's the specs of the speakers:

    2-way compo system
    150/200 watts
    System 2-way compo system
    Impedance 4 Ohm
    Frequency response 30-42000 Hz
Power handling capacity RMS/peak 150/200 watts
    Sensitivity/sound pressure level 92 dB
    Crossover frequencies3500 Hz
    DIN-size 165 mm
Tests Car & Hifi 1/98 "Absolutely top of the range",Car Audio Exclusive 1/98 "very good"

What i would like to know is what should be the power of the amplifier that i must buy for these speakers??? i have a JVC KD-SH99 Head Unit.
The speakers specs as u can c, it's stated that power is 150RMS does this mean that this is the nominal Input Power ???

    Thank you.

rms is the amount of power the speakers can handle constantly....the max is the amount they can handle in a brief musical burst...

Hell no, you dont need to give those speakers 150rms that would break the common mans bank account. Something as simple as a 100watt pioneer, or a Rockford 100.2, or a cheap series higher power amp like Profile, crunch, legacy. Any of these would do the trick just fine.
