Icon32 install 2 din head unit in 300zx dash

    hi everyone,

I would like to install my 2 din kenwood head unit in my 90 300zxtt. While the center console supports 2 single height recievers, and the well behind the dash also supports the 2 din head unit the molded plastic cover splits the area right in half with a metal reinforced divder. I would like to know the best way to remove this divider so it doesn't look like I cut it out or broke it out. If any of you know if there are aftermerket center console replacements that allow a 2 din unit, please let me know. Thanks for any help.

youll basicly have to take some time and try to think of a custom way to cut it. my suggesttion would be to pull it out, cut it out, and sand it evenly so it looks like it came that way. or you could even go to a junk yard and try to find an old console peice or find one on ebay or something and do it on that one.
