    Would a Hifonics XXV Goliath run 2 18" woofers? Fi BTL or AQ HDC3?

    What do you guys think?



    Head - JVC KW-AVX810J, Delphi XpressRC
    Front - Infinity Reference 6x9, 6.5, 5.5
    Sub - 2 Earthquake DBXi-12 (new coming)
    Amps - 2 Sundown SAZ-3000s, Kenwood KAC-4802
    Acc - 4 Batcap 2000, DC AD250SP alt, 4 runs of Knu 1/0 Kolossus Flecks wire, Stinger fuses and ends

    come on buddy.

    That amp will run just about any sub or subs very very well.
    Also keep in mind that you have sufficient voltage backing it..

    how can you even ask such a question....lol

    I really doubt it.Some 18" woofers need almost 300 to 500 rms to function. You would need 4 to 5 Goliaths...25000 rms to move those powerful 18" subs.I'm sure that this answer didn't help much either.This answer is as crazy as this thread............................

    Thanks dumped. I know I'm not the brightest, but I just wanna make sure I'm pushing them. 5000 at 2 ohms would be about 2500, and if those are in series, I wasn't sure if they would get all they could. I know I make a lot of threads over mostly dumb stuff but I can't afford to mess this up. I wanna make sure I get it right the first time. Hopefully I can get a good build log in. Thanks

    Nope the Hifonics XXV amps are not stable at powering 15" or 18" subs. ONLY 10"s and 12"s
